    The game is a remake… They just didn’t censor it in the international release this time, like they did in the original. A step forward, but ultimately just one made to undo a previous step back.

        There’s plenty of other reasons to boycott nintendo tbh. Trigger happy bastards when it comes to lawyers.

          Well, yeah, You are right. But conservatives wouldn’t give a shit if Nintendo execs would hunt the homeless for sport. They only give a fuck if someone not like them gets representation.

            Fun fact. Instead of “not like them” I wanted to write a few adjectives describing people Trumpers don’t like. But the post came out 8 lines long, so I scrapped that idea.

      Representation is good, but the original japanese character was definitely not meant to be inclusive at the time.

        This is true, but that was also 20 years ago.

        The public consciousness on queer issues is definitely a lot better today than it was then
