Proper explanation instead of just “birds”: The Wright Brothers were the first ever to build and fly an airplane. So they were fed like baby birds before taking flight in this cartoon
They’re like baby birds.
AND they built the first aeroplane… You need both points to get what’s being said.
I guess I just assumed people know who the wright brothers are.
I think younger people have lots of gaps still, either because they’re still in school or school has allowed phones in class rooms, or COVID interrupted schooling… But also sometimes people from other countries have unexpected general knowledge gaps.
