No.
No you would not, you may have made contingencies in case it happened, but you would absolutely be affected by it and have your day disrupted.

Najs, kräver detta att man kör Vipps, eller kan man swisha vippsare och kan de vippsa Swishare?
I read the title as “TikTok launches expanded universe”, and I was a bit confused
That sounds depressingly realistic
I am an IT technician working in Microsoft 365 / Azure, Microsoft makes changes so often that their own documentation hasn’t even been updated with the proper new name of the product in the product’s own documentation, oh and the name change took place several months if not a year ago.
I feel like I belong to one of the last generations that had to figure stuff out on our own when it came to computers back when I was a kid.
I was born in 87, my first computer ran Windows 3.11, I remember installing Windows 95 from floppy disks.
The whole “it just works” part of tech is both fantastic and horrible, fantastic in that it works, horrible in that when it doesn’t you get way fewer tools to work with.
Me and my friends calls this phenomenom “appification”, and it is terrible.
VLC is in the process of appifying itself, just look at the screenshots of version 4.
I will stand with you on the hill defending the Office 2010 UI, it was beautiful, clear and easy to work with.
The flat design of 2013+ was a mistake.
The article makes a big deal about the Sky Glass TV concept, and to be fair it does sound kinda dumb.
The TV weighs 35kg, which sounds extreme to me, then they make a big deal about it not needing a sattelite reciever or another settop box.
So it’s a TV with an integrated streaming service.
As for the outage, there is no confirmed cause for it yet, but the article speculate that a botched firmware update might be the culprit
To shoot down Russian jets violating your airspace?
Yeah, me too…
What I ment was that bruning a disc is the secondary step to making a copy if a disc, you first need to rip the original disc into an ISO file.
I remember when we got our first CD burner, it was a black and copper colored Philips unit, it was back when you made sure to leave the computer alone when burning a CD because you you didn’t want to risk buffer underrun.
That is what I thought, I have burned many discs in my day, and I have never got an ISO from bruning a disc.
Jessup managed to burn the intact Half-Life CD
What?
Compared to others, my teens were what they would call empty, but I had a good and calm time in my teens.
I am allways fascinated by people who just have to do things that will cause them a lot of problems.
I get that they lack empathy, that much is clear, but where is their sense of self preservation?
Part of me is envious that they have so few problems that they deliberately make more for themselves.
Meanwhile, I get a voter card in the mail automatically when I am eligable to vote in in an election, if I want to prevote or vote by mail I can do that, and if i want to change my prevote or mail vote, I can go to the polling office on election day and vote again.
This will mean that my pre/mail vote will be discarded and destroyed unopened when it is noted that I have voted on election day.
It’s insane that in the worlds largest and most powerful democracy, you need to complete a manual process to be able to vote in an election
I never claimed the manuals did avsolve them of anything.
I simply said that the manuals are nice and complained about the meaningless Apple hate when the commenter had not even looked at the linked manuals.
If you had bothered to click the link in the post and read the manuals, you’d have found out that the manuals are very nice, but no, you just wanted to go “Appol bad”
You know what you can do if you need to haul something and don’t have a truck?
