This show literally got me to relook at star trek. It’s such a good show and if they do end it with season 5, I’ll be sad but happy that it existed in the first place. Plus the crossover episode with strange new worlds was awesome, I do wish they had rutherford and tendi as well in that episode.

Another crossover episode with only tendi and Rutherford would be awesome.

I was blown away that the crossover could be so hilarious but still carry such a big intense moment for the Strange New Worlds story.

Yea they nailed the cross over. It’s kinda how I decided to watch SNWs. I found out there was a crossover and didn’t want to ruin the show so I started watching from season 1. Now I’m hooked on SNWs as well.

I’m almost wondering if they’ll spin off a couple of characters into a new Trek. I’d watch the shit out of Rutherford doing crazy engineering stuff on a flagship.

McMahan has appeared optimistic that there could be a chance of TV movie continuations, but I think the trailer hinting at an afterlife for the show is a tongue in cheek way of rallying fans for yet another “keep our show on the air” campaign 😆

That’s what I’m hoping it hinted at.

Lower decks is done, because those characters will now be bridge officers.

It will technically be the same show, but it will have a name change and start at season 1 again.

Ho early, we can’t let anyone go as long without a promotion as Harry.

Also, we got half of the maincast doing a live action episode without issues, too.

This show came at a perfect time imo. I used to be hooked on Rick & Morty but it has fallen off in recent seasons, and Lower Decks scratches the same itch. Looking forward to S5.

Take the adhd pacing and the bad storylines of the recent shows, and set it behind low quality poor wubzy wildcrats style animation.

Why are you the kind of person who doesn’t like seeing others having fun without you?

Sounds like something someone who hasn’t actually watched the show would say.

Most modern Trek is not worth watching, IMO, but Lower Decks is so much more than just another modern Trek show. It’s a perfect blend of old Trek nostalgia and modern comedy. Its writers are clearly huge Trek fans, as the show is very respectful of Trek tropes and often references fairly obscure lore.

In short: your opinion is wrong. /s

Try watching it with an open mind (as any person who truly appreciates the core of Star Trek philosophy would) and you’ll probably find that you really like it.
