I think most people would lean towards AOC since there seems to be lack of competition in the area of charisma and not-being-old categories.

Who do you think could be the next “Bernie Sanders” that could possibly run for president in 2028/2032? A lot can happen over the next 4 years, so 2028 there could still be a chance for a progressive president.

I think AOC definitely has the highest chance for 2032. She’ll definitely run.

There won’t be anyone challenging Kamala in 2028. And Kamala may turn out to be more progressive than everyone thinks.

Yeah I agree. 2028 was prefaced under the possible scenario where trump wins and we somehow still have a functioning election in 4 years.

she’s a pistol and brings the receipts to her takedowns. Reminds me of Ann Richards but better - she’s alive!

can you imagine her and Katie Porter on a ticket together? OH SHIT THE WHITEBOARDS WILL BE ON POINT

I hadn’t heard of her before, but after looking her up - I admit, I her record has some strong points.

It’s a little bit hard to say, as - like you say - the political landscape can fundamentally shift in four years.

That said, I am very much hoping that a labor-derived leader might stand up in the next few years. I’m not aware of one just yet, but that is where I’d look, particularly as automation and concentration of wealth become steadily greater problems.
