Maybe we should normalize this. It’s probably healthier than being on the internet outraged all the time.

    • You’ve got to be fucking kidding me. The internet is full of information and good people while construction sites are full of construction workers and loose string. Has the internet ever harassed a woman? Has the internet ever led to equipment malfunctions and death? Has the internet ever constructed a condo on a plot of land slightly too small to accommodate it, thus blocking one from bringing their lawn mower to the front and offering only lethargic weed whacking intermittently broken up by a neighbor who enjoys talking about their daughter’s biking-induced hemorrhoids and the newfound secondary utility of her menstrual pads? I rest my case.

As somone whos worked construction, ppl like these are kinda annoying (tbf not as annoying as homeowners who are out there trying to talk to you the whole time) but it feels like a teacher standing behind you as your taking a test

I’m sure it’s annoying but if it’s people like me, they’re fascinated by watching construction happen. Probably even things you think are simple to do seem interesting from the outside. 😬
