    I thought, possibly erroneously, that since it’s out of state and NY allows felons to vote unless they’re incarcerated he could still vote in Florida.

    That’s not gospel.

      He resides in Florida and votes in Florida. Florida has a law that says convicted felons can’t vote, doesnt matter where the felony was commited. An election was held in which this was reversed, but the state legislators put more requirements on the rule instead. That being that felons must pay all court penalties and request the ability to vote from the governor.

      BTW, I also think it’s funny that he can’t hold a clearance now for governmental classified information
