Why would you make it black? That thing is going to be hot as hell.
Maybe it used to be red
Maybe it’s in Alaska or Siberia or Greenland or somewhere else cold.
So the black irradiates the warmth away better :-) ?
Edit: when it’s hotter than the outside so like in the night for example, or in the winter, … Downvoting physics, lol.
it absorbs the warmth from the sun better, white reflects the photons more
