As you all know Valve’s two major fps games (CS2 and TF2) suffer from major cheating and botting issues. Would you trust and accept if Valve implemented a kernel level anti-cheat just like Valorant’s Vanguard or FaceIT?

No, Kernel level anticheat is a bigger risk factor than worth it for the quality of life that less cheaters would mean. Pirate Software made a great statement about it on YouTube, but I cannot look it up right now.
There are major cheating and botting issues in Valve’s games because Valve has ~360 employees, where a company like Riot has 4,200+, 10x+ Valve’s headcount. The manpower issue is the problem, not the lack of kernel-level AC.
