Refusing to open my mouth would’ve cost me a ton of money over my lifetime. Of course, talking is the only reason thousands of people are in jail today… know your rights & go from there.
I’ve always just said “it’s because you think I’m sexy and want my number.” But in retrospect, your approach is probably better.
