    The customer left a $3000 tip. The customer later verified that the tip was intentional. The customer then disputed the charge.

    Fun tidbit: the customer had written “Tips for Jesus” on the check.

      He disputed the charge months after the restaurant gave the tip money to the waitress, and the restaurant also had to return the money due to the dispute, so they (restaurant) were effectively swindled
