Wow that’s some pretty wild speculation, that could be fun, but the last part about Apple I think is highly unlikely.
But an Arm based Steam Deck could be very interesting. ;)

Not sure if you’re being sarcastic but “digital only” means the only way to put games on the device is via digital downloads
I’m pretty sure the keyword here is download and not digital, what other kind of download do they imagine?
I was absolutely being sarcastic about calling downloads digital, since it’s the only kind there is. Even an old acoustic coupler with 75/300 baud is still a digital download, despite being on an analogue line. Which in principle everything up until we got mobile and fiber were. Except ISDN
Each company tries this because it effectively eliminates the third party/aftermarket sales and gets them a monopoly on prices.
Which is why the same attempt originally failed very very badly on Xbox. So yes I absolutely agree on your last part.
Personally I wouldn’t mind that it is download only, if I could save the copy, and buy the downloads as freely from competing shops as used to be the case with installation discs.
The Pro is digital only which means you’ll need to buy a disc drive if you want to use it to play physical media.
OK so physical media is analogue only?
WTF do they mean by digital only? Every console ever made has been “digital only”.
But maybe this “digital only” where you can’t use physical media, is the reason it doesn’t sell so well.
That’s what happened to Xbox some years ago too.
WTF? M4 beats it with around 35-40%, and Apple also has M4 Pro and Max!
I was not aware that Apple is still so far ahead?
Still the Dimensity is both efficient and a beast and a huge improvement over last gen top Android SOC’s.
Way more power than I personally need in my phone.
I am VERY aware of the legitimacy of that argument. But the argument here is not to tolerate the intolerant, but to tolerate the people that actually support you.
You are arguing a straw man.
No I didn’t, because it isn’t true.
it’s not transphobic to avoid sex
Who the fuck ever claimed that?
Talk about a straw man argument.
Yes terf is one thing, but they also discriminate other LGBT, and their radical totalitarian approach also discriminate against those that actually support women’s rights. They discriminate against ALL men.
So they are very much part of the problem they complain about.
That’s it!! Now I will NEVER use an iPhone as a server. 😋
How would that in any way help developing countries?
Oh yes it’s changed alright, the lie has become bigger.
Consider the TV show married with children, a shoe salesman is married and has 2 children a house and a car, on a single lower end income.
And it wasn’t completely unrealistic back in the late 80’s to mid 90’s.
Ah yes, nothing like a radical movement built on double standards.
They complain they are not respected, but they discriminate against LGBT themself.
terf
transgender-exclusionary radical feminism
From the article:
Young women don’t want to be intimate with men who don’t fight for women’s rights; it’s showing they don’t respect us.
The people complaining about intolerance are themselves intolerant.
The Korean 4B movement is for everyone.
No it’s not, it excludes transgender (talk about double-standards) , and it’s a very radical movement. Absolutely not something that is for everyone.
It’s ironic they complain about men not supporting rights for women, and then they oppress a minority group themselves.
From what i heard, what if you just dont date assholes?
They are intolerant assholes themselves, so I don’t think the date is the issue.
They complain that men do not support women rights. But they themselves discriminate against LGBT.
So there you are, double standard assholes, will always have an asshole with them on a date, but the asshole is themself.
Absolutely, for me personally I bet I could find a PHEV that would be able to work 90% on battery for my daily drive.
As I stated before, there are use cases for hybrid, but that doesn’t make them fully electric cars. Calling a partially electric car electric is nonsense. Which leads to exactly the question of where the line is drawn.
How does that in any way change what I wrote?
Older Hybrids that use a combustion engine to charge the battery, are in fact MORE ICE than electric. They just have an extra step for the power from the combustion engine to reach the wheels. You might as well add an extra gearbox to an ICE car, and call it a gearbox car, because it runs on “gearbox”.
Tests here (Denmark) have shown plugin Hybrids on average drive only less than half on Battery, so those too are MORE ICE than hybrid on average.
Of course there are use cases for hybrids, but they are neither purely ICE or Purely EV, they are hybrid for christ sake. That’s also the reason they are called Hybrid.
Ha that’s crazy. 😋
But so was Wine on Linux 20 years ago, although it kind of worked sometimes even back then, and it’s such a cool tool today.
I sooo much wanted an Arm based laptop that could run Linux well, when the netbooks came out originally, competing with the OLPC.
But it never happened, all we got were handicapped Chromebooks and some shitty Android devices. Next year it will be 20 years since I dreamed of that, and now I frankly don’t care anymore.
Talk about a missed opportunity for Arm.
