The retail side is also just a huge ad for Amazon as a company. It’s what everyday consumers know even if it doesn’t provide a huge amount of profit. It creates name recognition.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look as good in the battlegrounds that will decide the election: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/09/23/us/politics/times-siena-polls-arizona-georgia-north-carolina.html?smid=url-share
Missouri Gov. Mike Parson, a Republican, on Monday rejected Williams’ clemency request to spare him from the death penalty and instead sentence him to life in prison. Parson, a former sheriff, has been in office for 11 executions, and has never granted clemency.
Sounds like this guy may be getting off on this stuff.
Unfortunately, these people can get away with anything in the current political environment. It has no consequences. Their followers hear only what they say and none of the corrections and criticism.
He wants Republicans policies but not Trump. He’s stuck like a lot of other people. Unfortunately, most of those people will hold their noses and vote for Trump and hope for the best. That’s the two-party system for ya.
I’m not Hollywood, but I was saving for a Tesla. Then Elon turned into a giant douche. Now that money will eventually be spent on a different EV brand.
More like, if you were born at any time in history, you have this freckle on your left arm.
It’s both. Unfortunately, a lot of people are incredibly racist without even knowing that they are racists. They are just doing whatever they’ve always been doing, “and now, all of a sudden, that’s racist.” It’s like when people are defending slavery because it was “normal at the time.” It was still racist! It is now and it was then.
The Republicans in power can see in the statistics that more black and brown people are dying, so they don’t care. Less people voting against them.
Yes, there’s the Constitution’s Election Clause regarding congressional elections.
I get that some states don’t do it, but the federal government also does it on behalf of everyone.
Even Brad Raffensperger, their own Republican Secretary of State, said that it would introduce “the opportunity for error, lost or stolen ballots, and fraud.” It’s unreal.
Sometimes it just feels like Americans are freaking savages. Abolish capital punishment.
They’ve been getting confused after Elon turned into a giant-ass bigot, so now some of them are considering Tesla.
Republicans are not going to accept the election results unless they win, are they?
Their base believes it and it riles people up at Trump rallies. That’s why.
I don’t think Trump knows what that word means.
“Yeah, but Socialism and Communism!!!”
I have conservative family members who deliberately go for the biggest SUV with the lowest gas mileage available just to “stick it to the government.” If the government told them that they couldn’t drive a small car, they’d be out there shopping for a small car. It’s incredibly childish.
Abolish capital punishment!
