For those who didn’t know: This is Robert Plant, the vocalist of Led Zeppelin. A dove spontaneously landed on his hand during a concert. They (the doves, not the band) were released from cages at the end if Stairway to Heaven, and one of them decided to land instead of flying off.

Yes, and no. They estimated a slightly higher chance for a Hillary win over a Donald win, but they were well within the margin of polling error, and they have been for every election. Plus people have a tendency of over-valuing a “51% chance to win”.

While this is good news, it could mean nothing.

EDIT: 538 explained it better than I ever could:
"Statistically, too, there is no meaningful difference between a 50-in-100 chance and a 49-in-100 chance. Small changes in the available polling data or settings of our model could easily change a 50-in-100 edge to 51-in-100 or 49-in-100. That’s all to say that our overall characterization of the race is more important than the precise probability — or which candidate is technically ahead.”

  • I used to around 20 years ago. Some, anyway.

But I was always picky about the ones I watched. I had a few friends who liked Naruto and other types I didn’t like. I always found that these two types basically boil down to either:

    • Combat centric plot, where each episode revolves around some new antagonist that luckily can be defeated by this new trick the protagonist learned earlier in the episode. Example: Naruto, DBZ.

    • Awkward guy spends time with attractive girls. Example: Ichigo 100%, Love Hina.

I really liked Monster, GTO, Elfen Lied, and Chobits. And there was this one drama whose name I cannot remember. I kind of lost interest after having seen those, because it felt like there were too much low quality anime compared to the ones that actually were worthwhile.

EDIT: I remember the other one, Kimi Ga Nozomi Eien. Also, honorable mention: Nana. Great soundtrack by Olivia Lufkin and Anna Tsuchiya

  • Related Kerbal Space Program trivia: The kerbals were originally supposed to be genderless, but the design ended up looking male anyway, so the first three kerbals ended up being named Jebediah, Bill and Bob. Then when the game reached version 1.0, the devs decided they might as well add female kerbals, so they added one to the veteran-crew: Valentina

Yes, even more so than Trump, and that alone is enough to vote for her.

Source: Myself. I made it up.

On a more serious note, while I can’t recall her ever mentioning or describing a venn diagram, I can easily imagine her doing so. Trump on the other hand, I’m not entirely convinced he knows what one is.
