I completely disagree as a Trump voter, I have no problem patronizing a company that has or espouses different political beliefs than mine. I agree it’s kinda weird for a company to put up a political flag like a MAGA flag or a pride flag, but hey, tolerance is a good thing so if I like the product I’ll support the business.
That said this is a ridiculous overreaction to a business wanting to cater the president. The backlash sort of shows how off the chain some of these Trump haters really are (not that we needed another reminder lol)

I’m not mad cuz she’s kinda a kook, but she did get shafted last election with the Maricopa County thing so I was rooting for her here.

It’s probably because a catalyst for these attacks was an attack some Jews did against pro Palestinians who were protesting a day or two before. I made a post this morning about that too, and interestingly enough that one got a fair amount of upvotes:

3·4 days agoBoth of those movies are on my watchlist. My family saw 2001 A Space Odyssey and they HATED it.
A movie can have a good message and still be bad though.
It’s at 5.9 on IMDB, which is far too low
Oh and two Christian movies I like the most, Courageous and Mom’s Night Out. Solid 7/10s that are treated like 3/10s because they’re Christian.

Firstly, I’m a Christian above anything else, so I don’t view Conservatives as “my people” or “my side”, but for the sake of discussion here let’s say that I do.
This doesn’t mean that the whole movement supports or advocates for these things. There’s no major effort on the right to do any of these things.

There’s no mainstream movement on the right to strip rights from people, unless you would count abortion as a right.
There’s no hatred on the part of the majority of the right. What you, as many leftists have done (and many of the right do this as well, TBF), have chosen to do is take policy positions personally and perceive them as indicators of hate, regardless of whether or not they’re motivated by hate at all.
