Dick Turpin?
RIP that brave car.
I still have the T-Mobile G1 phone plan.
Man that was a great phone.
My plan isn’t quite that old, but it’s getting up there. They recently increased my price by a few dollars per line. Then they tried to get me to move to a current plan, which turned out to be 20% higher price for less return. I had to try not to burst out laughing at the poor guy’s face.
I’ve been with TMo for more than 20 years–they’re the only carrier I’ve ever used–but if my price goes up again I’m jumping ship.
OK but did it really flop or where they expecting it to sell a morbillion units weekly?
Sources say that Ubisoft was expecting The Lost Crown to sell similarly to the biggest Metroidvania’s in the market, with millions of units sold in a relatively short space of time. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has sold approximately one million units at the time of writing.
It’s wild how conservatives have been led to believe that people shouldn’t make a livable wage doing whatever job needs to be done.
Not just conservatives. My stepdad is far from being one, but he lives in a fantasy reality where “no one in the 80s made a living or supported a family working fast food or running a register.” (I paraphrased a tiny bit, but this is a near-direct quote from him.)
Marvin the Martian as Sauron.
“Earth shattering kaboom” feels rather apt here.
Step 0: Invent the universe
I still don’t know if a USB micro or mini is the one that charges my PS4 controller
It’s Micro-B, to be specific.
They’re from Idaho.
Bonus points: the guy is from Illinois.
When I read the shelter in place order from my governor, its definition of “essential businesses” was so broad it would have been shorter to list businesses not covered.
Oh, crab.
Evolution-Os: Oops All Crab!
I like the edges and corners of a cake/brownie
Time to see if there are any notable dead people near me and start a tradition.
They don’t have to be famous now, in doing this you could make any grave famous.
de-lived
I prefer “inhumed”.
And the right wingers said, “Well we didn’t think it would work!”
I recall a number of voters who voted in favor of Brexit who were interviewed and said things like “but I didn’t think it would actually happen!”
I also seem to recall a similar sentiment in a case where people voted to strip funding from a local library in Michigan, then were shocked when the library had to close.
Maybe we should chip in and buy a second robot.
Hear me out: three robots.
shit down the government
I don’t know if this was a typo, but it’s rather appropriate either way.
It says there are no videos in the playlist.
The videos are there for me. Maybe you’re in a region where they’re blocked?
You don’t actually give the card to the employees, do you?
Typically when I go through a drive thru, I hand my card to someone who then leans back inside to swipe/tap/whatever it, then they hand it back. So yes, commonly I do give my card to an employee for at least a few seconds.
During 2020-2022 more of them were in the habit of placing the PIN pad at the window so it could be reached by customers from their cars, but it wasn’t designed to be used that way and I’m sure it caused other issues.
This is what I did. For extra amusement points, my bank was literally across the street from the management office of my complex. So they were printing the checks and mailing them… Across the street.
