Arguably we should very much GAF if they are, since this is not a xtian nation.

It gives a false sense of security to beginner programmers and doesn’t offer a more tailored solution that a more practiced programmer might create. This can lead to a reduction in code quality and can introduce bugs and security holes over time. If you don’t know the syntax of a language how do you know it didn’t offer you something dangerous? I have copilot at work and the only thing I actually accept its suggestions for now are writing log statements and populating argument lists. While those both still require review they are generally faster than me typing them out. Most of the rest of what it gives me is undesired: it’s either too verbose, too hard to read, or just does something else entirely.
84 miles twice in a day is 270km.
I’m not sure you understand the feasibility of biking 84 miles 2 times in a day in sub freezing weather with a total elevation change of 15,000ft with skis strapped to my back.
I’d love to not have a car, but there’s not a train that runs to the slopes and the busses cost more than twice as much as the gas to get there.
Do we actually know if he had a knife? Initial reporting was that the police knew he had a knife because he refused to take his hands out of his pockets. While he did threaten them, it was contingent upon them continuing to follow them. He did not actually attack them until after multiple officers attempted to tase him. Furthermore, so what if he had a knife? As far as we’re aware, he’s got a second amendment right to keep and bear arms. Being armed isn’t an excuse to be killed by cops because you are generally explicitly allowed to be armed.
All in all:
While that is textbook escalation, it really doesn’t seem like they shot him cause he had a knife. They shot him (and 3 others) cause he didn’t care about their authority and they couldn’t let the guy that was already on the train go. And all that came about because he tried to skip a fare that costs around the same amount as the bullets fired.
There are 5 basic rules for guns:
What I posted was a subset of the five then alluded to the full list.
Now watch as nearly half the voting population accepts this behavior.
It’s way more than just trigger discipline. There’s the traditional rules of course:
But there’s also reasonable shit beyond the 5 basic rules:
Oh s—, my gun just went off
Weird, I’d been told they don’t do that.
Your car should not be in the same cost area (or more) of your annual salary.
properly documenting the people who enter our country is vital for providing public services …
Not really. We can track that the same way we track non-immigrants: census, job reports, bank accounts, change of address forms, buying private data hoards.
Frankly I’d be in favor of just letting people in and letting them legally work. Our current system allows people in but then they are just expected to lie around waiting for permission to stay. Meanwhile they aren’t contributing to the broader economy. Let them work while they’re here and more of them will get off the streets, there will be more money going towards taxes, and there will be a broadening pool of people that can actually afford to buy things.
Cause Trump is incapable of admitting fault. He wanted his supporters to kill his last VP because Pence recognized that America didn’t want Trump.
Cool! Yet another way to have Google loop the same 20 songs tangentially related to the artist I searched for without actually playing the artist I searched for.
Ya want the truth? Lax gun laws led to public shootings as an easy way to gain notoriety. So many people took the school shooting route that they are now old hat. Want to get famous? Take out a prominent politician. What doesn’t help is Republicans blocking every effort to control access to guns (even those the majority of Republicans want) and Trump’s rhetoric stoking fear and normalizing violence.
They flagged me for report abuse for reporting a spammer using their option to report spammers.
If your goal is to dump as many mags as possible into a crowd then your aim and recoil don’t matter that much.
Shoots dead activist
There are less clumsy ways of phrasing that Israel killed someone.
He was celebrating that he had the tallest building.
There actually was a wolf in that analogy. Just cause the villagers decided to ignore the warnings didn’t make him not exist.
